At Riverside Gym in the UK, our way of running a gym was built in defiance of the typical commercial model. Rather than profiting on members who never show up, we operate a system based on personalised training programmes for every member, technical coaching, feedback and real accountability. Our results are consistent, with one goal in mind - to make sure our members get the most out of a gym membership through strategy, structure, and expert support.
Now, we’ve brought that proven system online. Our online fitness coaching platform offers the same level of care and customisation. Specifically, this is a dual language online gym programme, delivered in both English and Cantonese.
Clarity
We begin by gathering detailed information: movement assessment, injury history, lifestyle factors, and training experience. From there, we help you carve out realistic targets and training schedules you can stick to. This clear foundation helps Hong Kongers train safely and consistently, whether at home or in a local gym.
Strategy
Your programme is custom-built and deployed via our training app. Each session is clearly laid out with a simple interface, video instruction, and built-in data tracking.
As you complete blocks of training, we review your performance, communicate directly and construct your next training phase.
Support
We maintain a culture of high-touch support through messaging, task assignment, video review and in-person conversations.
We deliberately limit the number of people we work with to ensure that quality remains high.

Owner's Message
Since 2020, the world of online fitness coaching has exploded. While this shift has helped more people discover training, it's also created a flood of content, much of it misdirected. In this environment, clients are left confused, while many skilled coaches go unseen or forced to compete in a game of who can shout the loudest.
Around half our clients come to us with past experience of online programming. Most were left disappointed, handed something generic, injury inducing or unsustainable.
I work personally with every member, both in-person and remote. My focus is simple - to deliver a training system that is clear, effective and adaptable for each person's experience, goals and circumstances.
I began this work in 2017, and my mission remains the same - Work to a high standard, with a small group of people, for a long period of time.
The phrase 'Steel Body Calm Mind' etched into our logo represents my belief that developing your physicality brings a sense of peace, resilience and strength into your life. The gym is meant to be a source of pleasure, health and triumph - not frustration, injury or wasted time.

Every 4 weeks, you’ll receive a tailored training plan built around your goals, lifestyle, and setup—so you can train anytime, anywhere. Whether you’re at home, travelling, or in your local gym, the programme adapts with you. Coaching is available in English or Cantonese.

Stay in contact with your coach through our in-app messenger. Send videos for form checks, ask questions, and get support—without the pressure of a crowded gym or pushy trainers.
